Our Office
We take pride in our office as our facility is equipped with state of the art technology,
including digital x-rays and a fully computerized office management system, allowing us
to design a more accurate and detailed plan of your orthodontic treatment. We also utilize
the most stringent sterilization techniques for the safety of our patients and team. Together, all of this technology helps us to reduce treatment times and patient discomfort, while maximizing treatment results and protecting your health!
In addition, Dr. Barakat and Team regularly participate in continuing education programs to stay current with leading treatment techniques, and provide you with exceptional care in a friendly environment.
While in the office, our patients, siblings and parents can be entertained with video games. We sponsor regular patient contests as well as a reward system of “Barakat Bucks”, for simply doing a great job caring for your braces and appliances during your orthodontic treatment!

Linda - Financial Manager
I have been working in the field of dentistry for over 16 years and have gained extensive experience as a chair side clinical assistant in all fields of the dental profession. Orthodontics is by far my favorite dental specialty; seeing the beautiful, confident smiles at the end of treatment makes me proud of our work. I have been working with Dr. Barakat since 1998 in the clinical and administrative aspects of the practice. In my free time, I enjoy reading, ballroom dancing, and traveling. But, most of all I love spending time with my husband Brian and chasing after our toddler, Arianna Francesca. |

Maria - Front Desk Coordinator
I grew up in the Centreville area. You may see me at the front desk area or the clinical bay. I am cross-trained to work as a clinical assistant as well a treatment/financial coordinator. I am pursuing my Bachelor’s degree in Health Science at George Mason University. What I like most about orthodontics is the fun atmosphere and the relationship we develop with the patients. I enjoy music, staying active, and going on long walks with my fiancé Jorge along with our pug, Rocky out on long walks. I am looking forward to our wedding in 2009.

Jessica - Clinical Technician
I grew up in Loudoun County and am a Park View High School graduate. I have always had an interest in the dental profession. You may see me in the clinical bay or at the front desk. I am cross-trained as a clinical assistant and front desk receptionist. My favorite thing about working in both clinical bay and front desk is it allows me to build lasting relationships with our patients. On my free time I enjoy spending time with my family, friends and my fiancee Dustin as well as spoiling our cats Zoey and Cole. |

Amelia - Clinical Technician
I attended Catholic University in Nicaragua for my degree in business administration. Once I moved here, I started a family and attended NOVA community college. I have been working as a dental assistant for the past 18 years with experience in all areas; preventive, x-rays, restorative, prosthetic, oral surgery, periodontics, endodontics and orthodontics. I enjoy working with patients of all ages. I have lived in Sterling, Virginia for 18 years with my husband Jaime, my son Richard and my two dogs Blue and Odie. |

Nancy - Clinical Technician
I am originally from San Diego. I moved out to Virginia in 2005 with my husband after he got out of the Marine Corps. I have been an orthodontic assistant since 2001. I love the orthodontic field because I love making people smile. I love spending time with my husband, and our baby Isaiah. I love animals and I have 2 dogs, a Pug/terrier mix, an American Pitbull Terrier and an Australian Sugar Glider (Flying Squirrel). My favorite thing to do is spending time with my family.

I grew up in Vienna, but currently live in Manassas. I graduated from Osbourn Park High School in 2005. I am currently working towards my college degree. Playing the piano is one of my special talents. I enjoy spending my free time outdoors, traveling and meeting new people. I started working at Barakat Orthodontics as a clinical assistant in September 2006. I am very proud of the work I do and enjoy working in orthodontics, creating a beautiful confident smile in others definitely brings a smile to my face.

Lisseth - Sterilization Technician
I currently live in Manassas. I graduated from Osbourn park High School. I have been with Barakat orthodontics since May 2007 after completing my dental assisting degree at NOVA. I enjoy the work I do at Barakat Orthodontics and meeting all the new patients. During my free time I am mostly outdoors playing soccer or playing the Piano.
